A delayed start, due to rain, reduced the match to 21 overs per side, and after an uncontested toss, Berkswell, scoring at just over ten runs an over, set an imposing score of 230 for 5 from their allotted overs. Ateeq Javid (97 off 65 balls) led the way and he was assisted by Dan Mousley (56 off 23 balls) and Chris Whittock (39 not out from 17 balls). In reply, Kidderminster’s main objective was to avoid defeat and despite losing five wickets they managed to hold out reaching 64 for 5.
The result of the drawn match saw Berkswell increase their lead at the top of the league table to 33 points.
On Saturday, Berkswell travel to Gorway Road to face a Walsall side currently in fifth place in the table.
