2025 Junior season - training times, subscription info, bookings

We are looking forward to welcoming you to Berkswell CC in 2025 and hope that we can have a full season of cricket. We have set out below our provisional arrangements for our 2025 program.

Hardball Membership

Hardball will usually be suitable for school years of u10 (school year 5) and above. It may be necessary to assess children around the ages of 8-10 and decide what they are best suited to. Please select the membership category that you think is most appropriate. This can always be changed at a later date.

Winter session times

Will depend on age, sessions are expected to be as follows.

Sunday 2 February to Sunday 30 March 2025 (no session on 16 February)

  • Intro to cricket 4:00 - 5:00pm

  • Year 5 to 7 (U10 - U12) 5:00 - 6:30pm

  • Year 8 to 10 (U13 - U15) 6:30 - 8:00pm

Venue: Finham Park 2 School

U16 (year 11) and above will have the option to attend winter nets with adults, on a Sunday afternoon @ 3pm starting 9 February.

Female only:

Mondays on 13 January, 20 January, 27 January and 17 March

  • Hardball Year 7+ 7:00pm at Arden Academy, Knowle

Winter nets capacity is limited at 25 per session. All participants must commit to the full winter membership i.e., you cannot come and pay for single sessions. If after 1 or 2 sessions, you decide not to proceed we will provide a refund. If numbers exceed 25, we will try to find a solution to accommodate all participants.

Our softball session at 4pm will include a progression to hardball for those suitable for hardball cricket. The progression to hardball sessions will start once we have had time to properly assess the children.

Summer session

Will start after easter. We are currently working with the club to confirm the nights of the week when junior training sessions will take place. As a guide though, each member will have a dedicated 90 min group training session on a set evening in the week for 18 weeks, and also be included in age group (and ability suitable) matches against other clubs.
